STEVIE + ROBERT

THE ART LOVERS DREAMY BAY AREA WEDDING

October 13, 2023  |  Brazilian Room  | Berkeley, CA

Perched above the bustling college town of Berkeley, CA, the Brazilian Room in Tilden Regional Park provided a perfect setting for Stevie and Robert to celebrate their love.

Stevie and Robert contacted us just 6 weeks before their wedding date, which makes for some fast and furious planning, but we’re always down for a challenge. We were immediately in love with their attitude as a couple.  They envisioned their day to be a thoughtful and intentional celebration of love with live music, great food, and artful touches everywhere.

The couple already had many aspects planned, but needed us to connect the dots, take over managing final details with the venue and vendors, and execute their vision.  They were ready to focus on enjoying their day.

A live painter, a custom made lawn games, and an oil paint guest book reflected Stevie and Robert’s art appreciation, while the Lucky Devils brought a rockin’ party that had everyone out on the dance floor.
We worked with local caterer, The Arlington, to select unique dishes reminiscent of the couple’s travels, from mediterranean bites at cocktail hour to late night mince pies from New Zealand.

When we look back, we get a little misty.  The entire day was punctuated with happy tears; starting with the couple’s first look in the Hillary Tenzing room at the Claremont Hotel, through to some poignant times with family at the reception.  As we dance-worked in the back of the room, we caught a moment between Stevie and her grandmother that sent us into a sentimental sob-fest.  We love every wedding we do, but this one was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. We love love, and we love celebrating love.

Thanks to all our friendors who helped create such a magical experience.
