AN INTIMATE FOREST FAIRYTALE WEDDING

Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains lies a hidden gem- Nestldown. When Victoria & Christian brought us on to plan their wedding in the fall of 2022, finding the perfect wedding venue was priority. We toured Nestldown first, and it was all over- none of the other venues on our list compared. They’d found their spot! The sprawling 36 acres of California redwood forests, ponds and whimsical gardens was the perfect backdrop for the celebration of their dreams.
The couple had a solid vision to start with, but they needed support in booking vendors, working through the fine print of timelines and contracts, and connecting the dots of their design ideas.
Throughout 13 months of careful planning, we crafted a unique and intentional day that was the perfect reflection of them.
No detail was spared; from their pup Buckley joining the ceremony to a french fry bar and pretzel wall at cocktail hour, thoughtful and cozy touches were everywhere. There were also blankets as favors, mini hand pies at the dessert bar, and a s’mores station outside near the pond.
They dined at a sweetheart table near the fireplace, surrounded by gorgeous florals and tons of candles, and danced a special choreographed number under the epic crystal chandelier.
After plenty of dancing and the occasional guest sing-along, the night concluded with the couple’s grand exit through tinsel and twinkle lights, to a vintage taxi whisking them away.
