FAQs
How do I start planning a wedding?
1
How does this even work? Start with you! What are your must-haves, your must-nots, your priorities, and budget? Also think about how involved you want to be… planning a wedding takes time, and not everyone
wants another full-time job. From there, it’s time to lock in your venue (and/or your planner). Most couples start with one of those two, and they go hand-in-hand. Your venue sets the stage, and your planner brings it all together.
How early should I book a wedding planner?
2
Most couples book a wedding planner 9-15 months before the wedding, especially if they need full-service planning and design. That said, we’ve planned a wedding from scratch in 4 months, and we’ve worked with couples 2 years out. If we’re available on your date, we’ll jump in and bring everything together!
How much does a wedding cost? Can you help us budget?
3
First- don’t rely on Google or AI estimates! There are an infinite amount of variables, and info is pulled from the entire internet, so it's often misleading.
Plus, how do you know how those weddings actually looked or felt? A big part of staying on budget is setting realistic expectations from the start. We help you prioritize what matters most. We recommend vendors that fit your budget, and we give you the tools to track expenses, so you'll have less surprises.
The goal isn’t just spending less, it’s spending intentionally on the things that will matter most.
Can you help find a wedding venue near me?
4
Yes! We’ve worked in some amazing places and would love to connect you with some of our favorite venues like Nestldown, The Willow Ballroom, Madonna Inn and Sequoia Retreat Center. If you’re looking for something different, we have a long list of venues we’ve researched and would love to explore for you!
Do you work with specific wedding vendors?
5
Over the years we’ve built relationships with incredible vendors across California & Beyond. From venues and caterers to photographers and florists. We’ll recommend trusted vendors that match your style, priorities, and budget.
Already have vendors you love? Amazing. We’re always excited to collaborate with creative teams our couples feel connected to.
What’s the difference between full-service
wedding planning and wedding coordination?
6
Full Service means we’re with you through the entire journey. From venue scouting and vendor booking- to design development, timelines, and full event management.
Wedding Coordination means we step in during the last months. We organize details you’ve planned, finalize timelines, coordinate, and make everything run seamlessly.
Partial Planning- Are you somewhere in between? If you’ve already booked your venue and some couple priority vendors- we’ll take it from there! This is our most popular package… and we also customize! Every wedding is as unique as the couple, so let’s talk about what YOU need.
